A spacious, modern and elegant interior

Spacious enough to welcome up to 5- passengers comfortably, the Altima offers an elegant and sporty interior that is completely geared towards the driver.  Depending on selected options, you will find a flat-base leather upholstered steering wheel, leather upholstered sports seats with topstitches, and several features such as:

• An 8- way power driver’s seat (standard)
• Zero Gravity seats inspired by NASA, made with double-density foam and additional padding
• Remote starter
• Heated seats
• Air-conditioning
• Etc. 

A powertrain that combines performance with fuel efficiency

When it comes to the powertrain, the 2023 Nissan Altima maintains its 2.5 L 4- cylinder engine with 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft. maximum torque, coupled with an Xtronic CVT transmission as well as standard offered all-wheel drive. 

The Canadian fuel consumption numbers have not yet been revealed by Nissan, although they should be similar to the last model: 9.1/6.5 L/100 km and 9.3/6.7 L/100 km (city/highway), depending on selected version. 

This engine/transmission/drivetrain combination will give you an outstandingly enjoyable and remarkably smooth driving experience, even at high speeds.  

Moreover, the all-wheel drive system will give you even more stability when road conditions are at their worst, which makes it the perfect vehicle for winter driving. 

Added Technologies and Safety Features

The 2023 Altima is loaded with features and cutting-edge technologies, as much in terms of infotainment as when it comes to safety. Even though we still do not have the complete list of equipment that will be found aboard this Nissan sedan, here are a few features that are the top of the list, depending on selected model:

Finally, when it comes to safety, the Altima has nothing to envy from the competition!  In fact, as standard equipment on all of its models, it offers the 360 Safety Shield, which includes, amongst other things:

• Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection;
• Automatic Rear Braking;
• Lane Departure Alert;
• Blind Spot Surveillance;
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert;
• High Beam Assist.

Amongst all of the safety features that you will find aboard the Altima –depending on version, you will have the Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Traffic Sign Recognition and Perimeter Protection with Intelligent Surveillance, amongst other things. 

Several Driver Assist technologies are also found aboard the 2023 Nissan Altima, like the ProPILOT system, which is standard offered on the SR, SR Premium and Platinum trim levels.
