Yes, another SUV! Here's everything you need to know about the new 2021 Nissan Ariya SUV, coming soon at your Spinelli Nissan dealership.
The Japanese manufacturer has several projects in the works, and by 2023, it plans to launch a dozen new models. The all-new 2021 Ariya is one of the very first in this series, and it is a strong performer with a predicted range of more than 480 kilometers. To date, we don't know its price or official release date, but what we do know is that the 2021 Nissan Ariya SUV is built on a unique electric-vehicle platform called Alliance.
The new Ariya features a Kumiko grille, vertical openings at the ends of the bumper and ultra-thin LED headlights, which are truly a beauty. The rear, just as refined and modern as the front, adds a spoiler on the steeply sloping windshield and full-length headlights. Also on the menu are a choice of 9 colours, 6 of which are combined with a black roof for a striking contrasting effect. 19 or 20-inch propeller-type wheels complete the look.
The 2021 Nissan Ariya will offer 4 versions, including a choice of 2 drivetrains and 2 batteries. The front-wheel drive models have a single electric motor, while the e-4ORCE all-wheel drive models have two. Single-engine models can generate up to 160 kilowatts or 214 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Two-engine models give you 290 kilowatts or 389 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
The interior of the 2021 Ariya is incredibly attractive and modern, with its two 12.3-inch screens with haptic response and a minimalist, almost completely bare dashboard. Nissan promises that it will be as unique and avant-garde as the concept vehicle that was presented at the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas in January 2020. Depending on your driving style, the light strip around the cabin changes color. Among the countless innovative technologies is the ProPILOT Assist 2.0, a semi-autonomous driving system that allows you to take your hands off the wheel on the highway.
We're really looking forward to showcasing it for you, and in the meantime, be sure to stay tuned for the latest news at your Spinelli Nissan dealership on the West Island of Montreal.
