Let’s take a look at the fast and beautiful 2023 Nissan Z! Spinelli Nissan shares with you the latest information on the Japanese car, set to release in 2022.
The long-awaited return of the 2023 Nissan Z
Times have changed since the launch of the Datsun 240Z in 1969, but Nissan has stayed ahead of the trends. Now in its 7th generation, the all-new 2023 Nissan Z is set to arrive in early 2022 at Spinelli Nissan in Pointe-Claire!
The most powerful Z model ever made, the Nissan Z is coming to Canada soon, and it is coming to amaze us! If you love sports cars, keep reading, because we are about to tell you all about it.
The Next Generation of the 2023 Nissan Z
It’s finally here, and it’s more dynamic than ever: the new Nissan Z is impossible to resist with its plunging roofline, its elongated hood with stylized headlights, and its big wheels with red brake callipers.
There is no doubt that this is a sports car from bumper to bumper!
While we can tell at a glance that the Nissan Z was designed with a unique shape, no detailed information has been released yet regarding its dimensions.
Note that the Nissan Z convertible is no longer being manufactured, so if you just need to get your hands on one, you'll have to turn to the pre-owned market.
A last gasoline sports car before going electric?
Even as far back as 2018, there were rumours that both the Nissan 370Z and the GT-R would offer electric powertrains. That being said, the 2023 edition of the Nissan Z is powered exclusively by a gasoline engine (and what an engine it is!).
We all know what direction the industry is moving in however, so we expect Nissan to offer an electric motor within a few years.
We’ll have to keep an eye open for any announcements.
Power and Performance
If you were impressed by the 332 horsepower of the 370Z, you'll be happy to know that the 2023 Nissan Z delivers 68 additional horsepower… that’s a total output of 400 horsepower! This engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission, and the latter will feature paddle shifters as seen on the sporty Nissan GT-R.
We still don’t know just how fast it can go from 0 to 100 km/h, but that information should be released soon. We do know that the Nissan Z will only be available with rear-wheel drive.
What we love about the 2023 Nissan Z
- Its sporty design
- Its great performance
- Its stylish interior and new sport seats with better support
- Its sport steering wheel, inspired by that of the GT-R
The price of the new 2023 Nissan Z will be announced as we approach the launch date.
